The Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange is an initiative of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia to develop leaders of business, civic, and government organizations into visionaries dedicated to making Greater Philadelphia a national powerhouse. Through in-region programming and out-of-region learning visits, the Leadership Exchange provides a unique opportunity for participants to connect and "build civic muscle" with top business, civic, and governmental leaders and to develop a deeper understanding of the Philadelphia region. Since the inception of the Leadership Exchange in 2005, the program has had a strong track record of exposing participants to new insights and ideas, forging connections across sectors and industries, and strengthening a community of leaders who are shaping the region’s future.

This year is a mayoral election year for Philadelphians, so our conference and preceding GPLEX360 sessions will focus on two important threads:
- Issues and solutions that are most pressing in our region, including gun violence, housing affordability, gentrification, transportation, public health, small business, and more…
-New Orleans is a city that is no stranger to resilience, and many of its citizens have had to master resilience as an art. We look to the Paris of the South for its lessons on culture, resistance, governmental relations, education, and how they are working to understand the side effects of being a shrinking region.

...was born out of the desire to create a home for ongoing cohort connections and experiences. A once-a-year meeting of the minds only taps into a small amount of the potential for this program, so 360 seeks to extend the mission and best parts of the conference for our community.
