GPLEX
The Greater Philadelphia Leadership Exchange is an initiative of the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia to develop leaders of business, civic, and government organizations into visionaries dedicated to making Greater Philadelphia a national powerhouse. Through in-region programming and out-of-region learning visits, the Leadership Exchange provides a unique opportunity for participants to build connections with top business, civic, and governmental leaders and to develop a deeper understanding of the Philadelphia region. Since the inception of the Leadership Exchange in 2005, the program has had a strong track record of exposing participants to new insights and ideas, forging connections across sectors and industries, and strengthening a community of leaders who are shaping the region’s future.
GPLEX 360
GPLEX 360 was born out of the desire to create a home for ongoing cohort connections and experiences. A once-a-year meeting of the minds only taps into a small amount of the potential for this program, so 360 seeks to extend the mission and best parts of the conference for our community. IMPACT LABS
Impact Labs is the Economy League's new line of programs to support community ventures and social enterprises advancing innovative solutions to complex civic challenges in Philadelphia. We connect social entrepreneurs and community leaders in Philadelphia with coaching, technical assistance, and venture funding to test and scale new models for social impact.
PAGE
Philadelphia Anchors for Growth and Equity (PAGE) is a partnership between the Economy League, the City of Philadelphia and leading “Eds and Meds” anchor institutions that seeks to increase local purchasing by large institutional buyers to grow businesses, strengthen the local economy, create jobs, and build wealth.
The Economy League works with institutional buyers to identify and define opportunities for local, diverse companies. Simultaneously, the project team partners with organizations that represent small businesses in Philadelphia to identify suppliers to take advantage of those opportunities.
RESEARCH
Since its founding in 1909, the Economy League of Greater Philadelphia has been an independent organization that believes high-quality, nonpartisan, and objective intelligence about the region’s most important challenges and opportunities is a crucial driver of equitable prosperity in Greater Philadelphia. Our Research department generates insights that align with the organization’s role as a regional “think and do” tank that focuses on inclusive growth, equitable opportunities, and shared prosperity.
CIVIC CONSULTING
The Economy League conducts independent research and delivers advisory services on a range of Philadelphia-area civic issues including economic development, public policy, and workforce development.
